  • Gerard Badorrek

    Gerard Badorrek served as the Chief Financial Officer of the General Services Administration, introducing RPA to the CFO Office and creating a program that supported RPA implementations. He founded the Federal Government RPA Community of Practice which brought together agency leaders developing automations across the federal government to share best practices and address common challenges. The CoP now has more than 1,300 members from over 1,000 federal agencies. Badorrek holds an MBA degree from Stanford University, an MA in Economics from Case Western Reserve University, and a BS in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.

  • Jessa Barnes

    Jessa Barnes is the Practice Lead for the Intelligent Automation team at UDig. She has spent over nine years working on technology-related projects and initiatives from an analytical and project management role, as well as working with process discovery for automation candidates. Jessa’s experience and inquisitive nature allow her to work with clients to understand and map out processes, dig deeper into business problems, and help identify solutions.

  • Ian Barkin

    Ian Barkin is an entrepreneur, investor, speaker and author. He co-founded the leading RPA consultancy, Symphony Ventures, which he sold to Sykes Enterprises in 2018. Ian has authored LinkedIn Learning courses used by people globally to learn about, and to apply, RPA, AI and Cognitive technologies . He co-authored the book “Intelligent Automation: Welcome to the World of Hyperautomation” and was the host of the podcast “OneTAKE”, where he explored customer experience and digital transformation trends.

  • Paula Carneiro Cox

    Paula Carneiro Cox is the SVP of Business Development at WonderBotz, a global pure-play automation advisory and services organization where she serves as an Evangelist. In the last 5 years she has evangelized Robotic Process Automation (RPA) for every enterprise. Paula simplifies technology to business users to help organizations undergo enterprise-wide digitization efforts. She is a certified RPA Business Analyst and has been an active evangelist for sectors such as Higher Education and Healthcare where adoption of emerging technologies often trails.

  • Maurion Edwards

    Maurion Edwards is the Chief Information Officer and Director of Technology Services at Virginia State University. He has an extensive background in information technology (IT) within the Commonwealth, serving as the Director of Information Systems at the Department of Taxation, the Department of General Services, and the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission. He came to VSU from the Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA). Mr. Edwards holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University.

    Anthony Fung PMP. ITIL is the former CEO of Amplitude9, and current Vice President of Intelligent Automation, !mpactmakers, a company that provides intelligent automation and artificial intelligence solutions that improve service delivery to citizens and provide significant organizational cost. He served as Deputy Secretary of Technology for the Commonwealth of Virginia, serving as a senior advisor on technology matters including data analytics, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and innovation.

  • Becky E. Klein

    Becky has 21 years of Higher Education administration and management experience including 6 plus years at George Mason University. Currently, she manages purchasing operations, P-Card Administration, Vendor Creation and Maintenance, eVA Support, and the Travel Office. Becky is the program manager on all Purchasing process improvements which includes the recent launch of Emburse Chrome River (Mason Finance Gateway) and the Pilot RPA for Mason Fiscal Services.

  • Mike Maddalena

    Mike Maddalena is the Director, Finance, Operational Analytics, and Process Optimization at the College of William & Mary. He also is a lecturer at the business school for Robotic Process Automation. Prior to working at William & Mary, Mike worked in consulting for various firms, with his most recent stint at Booz Allen Hamilton. Mike received his Master of Business Administration from William & Mary and undergraduate degree in Finance from Old Dominion University.

  • Gabrielle Perret

    Gabrielle Perret is the Director of the Federal Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Community of Practice (COP), a community consisting of 1500+ members from over 100 federal departments and agencies working to accelerate the adoption of RPA in the federal government. Ms. Perret leads the COP in pursuing its mission to help individual agencies overcome the technical, management, and operational challenges that arise in designing and deploying an effective RPA program. Ms. Perret achieves this mission by connecting and engaging with community members across multiple communication channels.

  • Robert Stadler

    Robert Stadler is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Emory and Henry College. He brings enormous experience with academic software automation for his college and the Virginia private college and university sector. He is a graduate of Goizueta Business School of Emory University, with concentrations in Finance & Marketing and holds a BS from Case Western Reserve University in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Dorin Munteanu

    Dorin Munteanu is the Co-Founder of the Intelligent Automation (IA) Initiative and Senior Research Associate at the Center for Business Civic Engagement, George Mason University. He holds RPA Awareness and Business Analyst certified diplomas, as well as RPA CPE credits. He has more than 15 years of international business and policy research experience, as Chairman of Transilvania Group and a Senior Advisor at URADmonitor network, an Internet of Things and Big Data solution enterprise. Munteanu holds degrees from Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and the School of International Service at American University.

  • David Rehr

    Dr. Rehr is Professor at The Schar School of Policy and Government, George Mason University, and Co-Founder of the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Initiative, the premier academic center on RPA in the country. Before joining Mason, Rehr was President and CEO of the National Association of Broadcasters and President of the National Beer Wholesalers Association. Rehr holds a Phd and MA in Economics from George Mason University and a BS in Business Administration from Saint John’s University.
